1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FinMenty ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

FinMenty is a finance career preparation platform that provides:

  • AI-powered interview simulations with virtual interviewers
  • Practice questions and answer analysis
  • Live 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with finance professionals
  • AI chat assistance for finance concepts
  • Partner Mentor threads for premium subscribers

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.

5. Mentoring Sessions

  • Sessions must be booked in accordance with mentor availability
  • Cancellation policies are displayed at the time of booking
  • Sessions are for career guidance and educational purposes only
  • Mentors are independent professionals; their advice is their own
  • Recording sessions without consent is prohibited

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or mentors
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
  • Use AI-generated content for academic dishonesty
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service—including but not limited to AI interviewers, practice questions, and educational materials—are owned by FinMenty and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Content you create (such as interview responses) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it for service improvement and analytics purposes.

8. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate interview questions, feedback, and chat responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Such content is provided for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional financial or career advice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR THE RESULTS YOU MAY ACHIEVE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINMENTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FinMenty and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
